An active system relies on its mechanics systems that circulate heat carrying fluids (fans or pumps)

There are two kinds of solar thermal energy systems, passive and active.

A passive system has no moving parts, it’s design features capture the suns rays to use for energy

Light intensity being the power delivered by the light (the sun), divided by the area (the earth)

Our solar system is so interesting to learn about... earth only receives 16% of the light intensity that mercury does

@moopalmer Yes, with time and effort a difference can slowly be made. Just look at Greta Thumberg and her voice for Climate Change. It takes one person to spark a difference or change in other individuals.

I think so much more $$ needs to be invested into public transportation systems. It could make such a huge difference in reducing the amount of co2 that is released into the atmosphere from people driving everywhere
