As Mearsheimer explains in detail, this is actual Holocaust revisionism and genocide denialism, specifically the ethnic cleansing, genocide and occupation of Palestinians by Israel. Anyone who uses this disgusting propaganda line is intentionally reversing the role of the genocidal occupier and the people being genocided and occupied by them.

Not only does it minimize the Holocaust to grotesque absurd proportions as Mearsheimer notes, it is done to justify the ongoing genocide, mass murder, torture and rape of Palestinian babies, children and others, while denying the legal and moral right of Palestinians to resist it.
