@bearzus Thanks for that! It's good to know my writing is better than what an AI program can produce. But how long will that last? AI is learning to be human. Someday it may write better than we humans do!

@NJBReviews I write using Scrivener. I love that the software looks like plain white paper in the center, but it has a (yellow) bar on the left for Chapters & other subdivisions and another bar on the right for notes. Have written 4 novels using it and can't imagine using anything else!

@christiemadrian It's not weird at all. It's a great way to start the day. P.S. I am a retired nutritionist and have been known to finish off a pot of soup or leftover quiche for breakfast. Yum!

@The_Happy_Blue I don't plan the story line, although I usually see an arc. That is, I usually have a general idea of where the story is going, but I have few specifics. I am always, always amazed that somehow the specifics show up when I need them. Can't explain that! Good luck to you!

@byMorganWright My dad was a mechanical engineer; my mother, a typical 1950's mom (and a very good golfer). They were both readers. So I grew up reading, which led me to take up technical writing as a business and then fiction writing in retirement. I am always reading at least one novel.
