@CaspenRae@airmainengineer This isn't a car, the person is literally talking to the tower. But even if it was, there's 100s of people that gather at Pearson (and other airports) to watch planes come and go. It's incredibly common, most major airports have an unofficial spot people park and watch planes
@AlternatNews Someone isn't paying much attention. Poland will not be a pushover in any way and is currently Ukr's strongest ally
I wouldn't be surprised if they enter the war (wouldn't trigger art 5 but it's possible some NATO nations come along too), and it could mean the end of the Ru army
@ksorbs They actually do... Maybe "frequently" would be the wrong word, but it unfortunately happens way more than you obviously think, and is a known problem.
@Bibekan50937611@DefenceU If they've had a total loss... Why are the Russians STILL struggling so hard to advance? Why do they have such less territory now than at the outset of the war??
@josmincherian@DefenceU Arguably started already, but takes time. Prepping the battlefield needs probing attacks, recce, attacking logistics, planning, forcing the movement of en reserves, deception etc. Look at operation overlord, it was 18 mos in the build up (albeit against a much greater force)
@ChaloubMega @promking2013@IAPonomarenko Russia claims to have inflicted 500000 casualties... And yet they still have less territory today than they did at the outset of the war (really... Then they did two weeks ago).
The Ru army is an embarrassment and unlikely to be able to wipe Ukraine off the map...
@DmytroSolenko It's meant to be more of a slap in the face to Russia than anything. At the very least, propaganda is an important part of any war budget, so honestly it's probably money well spent.
We stand in full support of Olha Harlan, the talented Ukrainian fencer who declined to shake hands with her russian opponent following her victory in a duel. We condemn russia’s exploitation of sports to support its war of aggression.

@comagafrica@DmytroKuleba The west doesn't import grain from ukr (the last shipment of grain the US bought went to the world food program), and much of the EU has banned grain imports from Ukraine.
@pinko727@DmytroKuleba By destroying this grain... Russia is involving the whole world in the war. Russia made it clear they are only there to make demands, not negotiate. So this comment should be directed at Russia...
@IdrisRilas20@DefenceU Well Radar exists... But for the layman: photos (and video, but they're hard to see much cuz it was at night) showing the destruction determine the direction of the strike, the ground penetration and level of destruction, all point to a Russian missile as the likely culprit.
@BhozaMzansi@DefenceU Yes, and very few people in the world think that's ok. Most are outraged. Which means you should be outraged that Russia is doing the same thing...
@leftfielder@CheburekiMan Russia hits far more civilian infrastructure than it hits military strategic sites, so yes, they waste a TON of missiles. So while I doubt they actually targeted the church, them hitting it falls well within their modus operandi.
