@richardbranson just wanted to say that my dad often said how thankful he was to employed by Virgin as a train driver. It's coming up to the 5th year anniversary of his death and I don't think was honestly ever happier in work than he was with Virgin. So thank you.

@peterrhague @darinepling If you think it’s malpractice then there’s really nothing stopping you from suing the state - a relative of mine won a legitimate claim a long time ago, but it resulted in the death of their daughter so a bit worse.

Although the NHS shouldn’t be like this - a similar service in America would probably result in a $100k bill (exaggerating).

The service is unsustainable without further funding.

@BeeNetwork not sure if it’s worth saying but a guy who just got off the tram at Deansgate Castlefield was on the phone saying things like “Europe is the enemy”, “I’m not sure Hitler was in the wrong” and “if you’re in the country, I’ve got a place to stay”.

VAT, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Stamp Duty… there’s plenty of ways to increase tax without affecting the average worker.
