Sorry last message on this. I've done more digging. I want to be fair to @TeamYouTube as I don't think it's YouTube's fault this time.

It seems Orfium Hexacorp LTD are working on behalf of Bensound. They are trying to claim the revenue of my YT video before it's even released.

I've downloaded the track which is advertised as "copyright free" from Bensound and I've used their attribution code before the video has released.

However the claim is still active so I've now paid for a license in advance of the video dropping (it was "only" 40euros inc VAT). I've paid for the license because I am just desperate for the video to release on time.

This whole thing has felt like a shakedown from Bensound and Orfium. They are claiming a video I haven't even released and i've spent 16hours stressing and trying to get to the bottom of it. To the point where I've just bought a license Bensound themselves say I don't even need, just to hope the vid can release on time.

I believe it's right to charge for music if that's what you want to do. I believe it's fine for me to pay for it too given I am gonna do ok on YT with it. But this apparent "shakedown" on something clearly advertised as copyright free is way more stressful than all of this is worth.

I wont be using Bensound again as they are happy for their attack dogs Orfium to claim unreleased content in advance of it dropping and then it feels like there is nothing you can do but pay if you hope to release the video.
