Even the world champions stand on the shoulders of giants, but Magnus's view is far and unobstructed. And if you want to keep collecting world championship trophies, you don’t stop to count the ones you already have!

I wanted to make something new for the kids, so I made Egyptian style Shrimp Fries, crispy potato sticks shaped like shrimp and stuffed with a little cheese and flavor. 🍤🥔

It’s one of those simple dishes that look fancy but come from almost nothing, just time and love. ❤️

The kids couldn’t stop smiling, calling it “zaaki” and “fancy” after every bite. 🤤
In a place where ingredients are limited, creativity is what keeps the taste of joy alive. 🔥🫶

So heartbreaking💔
Isn't this clip from Danya's last stream more than good enough to understand how much his mental health was affected by the baseless accusations by Kramnik?
@FIDE_chess Ethics Commission must step up and prevent Kramnik from playing with mental health of others

I may have used the wrong screenshot area of the article, but actually, this is the part that makes me angry (this is the correct screenshot area of the article):

—> Dr Cheah, a non-anaesthesiologist will decide if a mode of Anaesthesia suitable or not for a patient (LA vs GA) and Anaesthesiologist would have to request and abide by whatever decision by TPA, or else it wont be paid by insurance

Now, usually, when GL is requested by the surgeon, for whatever surgery going to be done in Daycare, the insurance will look into the request and approve the GL for the surgeon to do whatever needed for the patient.

Then when the day comes, Anaesthesiologist will decide the mode of Anaesthesia suitable for the patient. Now, insurer want types of anaesthesia to be approved in addition to types of surgery.

Mind you, the type of surgery is not the only indication for LA or GA. Other patient factors need to take into account also, which may makes the patient not suitable for LA even if the surgery seem simple” and “daycare”.

I could give plenty of example and scenario of this.

In addition, even if you “approve” beforehand the mode of Anaesthesia, when the surgery day comes, plenty of other factors necessitate the LA method to be changed to GA, on the day of surgery. So now what?

Do we cancel the surgery? Do we postpone and ask for a new approval?

Where do we draw the line when insurance dictate every decision by the specialists?

[Dr² JB @abd_jabbar]

So…Doctors now have to prioritize cheaper cost instead of patient safety now? When will MOH take action & intervene about insurance dictating Specialists’ clinical decisions? This is very worrying indeed @DrDzul
