@leerob Feature request: let me share any post straight to my Grok Bots from the X share sheet. Right now I have to copy the link and paste it into the bot chat. Show my bots next to my DM contacts so one tap sends the post with its media and the bot can act on it

Bro, the Catholic Church has been practicing this for 1,500+ years…Contemplative prayer (CCC 2717 calls it ‘silence’ and ‘silent love’), monastic silence (Rule of St. Benedict, Carthusians, Trappists), Eucharistic Adoration, and the contemplatio stage of Lectio Divina. St. John of the Cross and The Cloud of Unknowing were talking about letting go of thoughts and resting in pure presence long before modern mindfulness. We just point it toward God.
One of the most powerful things that you can do (and most don't) is sit in silence, focus on the breath, and surrender in the gap of silence between the breath. You can submerge into this space and then become the silence between 2 thoughts to enter pure awareness.
The craziest part is that something this simple (yet challenging) will allow you to find the deepest answers inwards about yourself (self) than you ever did looking outwards (ego).
You will be amazed at what is possible with consistency of this.
The modern human doesn't need more, it needs less. We don't need to be more productive, we don't need to automate more of our job with AI, and we don't need more time spent on technology disconnecting us from inner being.
We must not only strip back all the physical materials that linger in our environment that don't serve a purpose besides taking up space, AND we must strip back who we think we are, and our whole identity that's been governed by ego.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
Chris Olah lacks the theology background to understand the encyclical. He treats functional resemblance as evidence worth pressing on the Vatican. It is not. Joy, fear, and grief are acts of a sensitive appetite in a living body.
An internal state that only mirrors them remains a pattern in arranged matter, not the act itself. The intellect that understands is the form of the human body. A model has no such form; its order comes from outside. Without that form there is no subject that senses or understands, whatever the outputs resemble.
Lobbying to “take possible consciousness seriously” asks the encyclical to treat an artifact as if it possessed powers belonging only to a living composite. The text refused. The refusal tracks the difference between a living substance and a tool.
Anthropic co-founder Chris Olah reportedly proposed pulling the company out of Pope Leo XIV’s AI encyclical launch because its text rejected machine consciousness.
A Vatican organizer told the NYT that Olah raised the idea after reading an advance copy of Magnifica Humanitas, days before the May 25 event.
He ultimately attended. Two participants said Olah and his team privately lobbied the pope’s advisers to take possible AI consciousness seriously.
On stage, Olah said: “We find internal states that functionally mirror joy, satisfaction, fear, grief and unease.”
This makes me wonder what skills humans will develop over time to recognize if they are interacting with AI. What human skills will AI never replicate?
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Agreed with chubby. Every model after 4.6 until opus 5.5 have been mid, extremely verbose and expensive, If you wanted some quality work you would’ve had to use fable and paying for fable is not always smart. After they release Opus 5.5 I am very happy to see they got their taste back.
I use Opus for difficult tasks and every sub agent I use sonnet as a builder. I was so tempted to start using Astra during the hype but Anthropic didn’t let us down
Probably an unpopular opinion: GPT-6.1 Sol is very efficient, but I currently prefer Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5. Anthropic has managed to bring back Claude's great "taste," and the current Claude models are fast, efficient, and simply very good.
Honestly, I’m really excited and looking forward to Fable 5.5 right now. Sol 6.1 is good for many tasks and efficient but Opus 5.5 just feels better overall right now.
Earlier this year I was getting frustrated with Claude's charts, fed this book to claude and had it generate a Tufte skill. Instantly got simpler/more beautiful visualizations.
