@seabunnypeep It's unfortunate to see people so downtrodden. It isn't a sin to work on yourself, nor is it disrespectful to the community you built to step away. Make sure you drink a healthy amount of water and check in with your goals and platform if you can. Good luck stranger.
@Scarlet_BelleVr To reframe:
You're approaching them like a predator approaches prey. You're offering something that looks like care but the structure of the approach is coercive, manipulative, and dangerous. And you know exactly what you're doing. That's the worst part. It's vile for no reason
@Scarlet_BelleVr Please recognize how, semiotically, you keep killing your case. Framing your propositions as though they're bold to the contrary of others' comfort zones does not signal best interest, and you know that. As I said before, it is often a big indicator of false representation. Stop.
@Scarlet_BelleVr You're not actually signaling trust to trans people. You read like the driver of the white van handing out candy. Which I believe is almost entirely intentional because you don't accidentally structure your arguments like that if you're smart, which I think you are.
@Scarlet_BelleVr What you're signifying is this:
Martyrdom (performed bravery)
Unauthorized delegation (why are you rep?)
Immunization (can't question you)
Fear as persuasion
Deadline coercion
Campaign distribution (you're selling)
Conditional benediction
None of these are good things.
@nikkenorth The majority of them that i've followed did message me to start a scam script. I've documented it on my own page in a sort of rant. Not baiting you to look, but if an individual who rarely streams gets scam messages 100% of the time, it's bad. This is one tiny example.
@natural_manure Why is it "ew" exactly to demand evidence? The fact that you admitted to not caring about it also renders any moral arguments you make null. Why you bothered to comment makes little sense to me because this isn't a debate, nor is admitting non-care a debate tactic.
@PetiteNeetUwU I'm not entirely familiar with the situation, but wouldn't hiring a stalker be.. expensive, just to prove a point? It's not past some but it's a lot harder than making rational arguments.
@Scarlet_BelleVr@nikkenorth Conflating an innate sense of self and human connection with actual harmful, predatory, or compulsive disorders isn't just scientifically incorrect; it's a deliberate tactic used to manufacture a moral panic.
@Scarlet_BelleVr@nikkenorth It isn't a mental illness to be different. To have a sense of self that deviates or aligns with any ideology and orientation is to be a healthy individual as long as it isn't actually pathological like pedophilia, and there IS a noticable neurological difference between the two.
@SaltyUrbExer1@Ayanarinashi When someone is that deep in crisis, telling them "others have it worse" is permission to keep suffering in silence. It reinforces the exact thought pattern that drives suicidal ideation: "I'm not bad enough to deserve help, I'm just weak, I should just get over it." Disgusting.
@SaltyUrbExer1@Ayanarinashi You cannot change your limits mentally. What someone thinks is a normal amount of stress is another person's shatter point. Generalizing trauma is commodifying it, and that's dangerous, as you end up ignoring people who do need help, as Aya was getting at. Stop it.
@QuorroVR@Discordia_Ch@VRChat Correction: your response to someone AGAINST it. I tried to fit it in a comment and messed up. My fault, but my message is the same.
@QuorroVR@Discordia_Ch@VRChat It's no longer consentual adult things when children are involved. If children can access your content, then it isn't something you can claim is private or protected enough. If "whiney" is your response to illegal and objectively amoral stuff, you aren't a trustworthy person.
Being able to suspend your emotions to parse logic in complex situations is important. The people you like or don't like can still make good or bad points, and you're doing nobody favors by throwing that ambiguity to the side because of your opinions on character.
