@chefsevenn They sell "bacon ends" which is just the leftover raw bacon that didn't make the slices, it's fairly cheap for how much you usually get. Get some, section it off, freeze it; then fry some in the pot for about 5 min. before you add your green beans. Salt and Pepper to taste.
