🚨 Navigator Report - Round 99 -
Freshness is here!
This week I took a quick look at some stats and data on the new Freshness multiplier. It will have a massive impact on voting rewards moving forward, and I don't think enough people realize it yet.

Finished my VeBetter Dao Navigator report for round #99.
P.S. Don't worry about the video. It's just Mikaeli successfully hitting metal 17 times.

What happened? Was there an error with auto opt-out? Voting results indicate there were around ~800 wallets using this service, and reports from people indicate they are still opted-in.
We’ve listened to the community feedback regarding the automatic 5% Navigator delegation on veDelegate and decided to remove the auto opt-in
Users will remain fully in control of their voting preferences.
A few important clarifications as there seems to be some misunderstanding around the feature:
• The mirrored 5% carried 0 Navigator fees (while standard Navigator delegation can charge up to 20%)
• veDelegate would never vote for itself
• This did not affect in-dApp voting, only veDelegate users
The intention was never to take control away from users, but to help create a more dynamic and merit based voting ecosystem by introducing limited Navigator influence into otherwise passive voting power
Users who previously enabled delegation features can still manage this setting manually under “Manage Deposit”.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue building with the community
Proposal to remove B3tr Transit has been executed:
1) B3tr Transit blacklisted;
2) 147 646 b3tr returned to the Treasury;
3) The amount from relief funding will be returned in June (according to the proposal).
Appreciate all who discussed, supported and voted on the proposal!
@plant2earnxyz Hey, Kicked by jolly. What does migration from direct API to Vertex AI integration has to do with nft reward multipliers? You were updating those manually.
It should take week at worst, not 4 months.
The conversation got heated. The good part is Vedelegate listened to feedback.
This highlights the absence of DAO-wide rules governing user autonomy in decision-making.
My proposal addressing these issues is up for discussion:
