It's never too early to start the stoke! Just ask rising ninth grader William Plunkett who started mountain biking when he was three and started showing up for trail days at the age of five with his dad Todd.
He even got ribbon cutting privileges during the opening of the Ridge Trail Extension in Patapsco Valley State Park because of his hard work! @MDStateParks

Thanks to the hard work of our Trail Liaisons and volunteers, the new Homerun trail has just been completed, making James Long one of the one of the fastest growing systems in the region. Future plans include several more miles of trails and connections to nearby parks.

MORE and longstanding partner Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park have been working on getting more people of all abilities on trails and are gearing up for an Adaptive Cycling event on 4/30.
What is adaptive cycling? What makes an adaptive trail? How can I get involved?
...We have a broad coalition of partners, including MORE, the Trail Riders of Today equestrian group (TROT), the Izaak Walton League of America, and the Montgomery County Road Runners, all of whom have supported this exciting project from the beginning...
