@willmovies@EmpireCityBO 4 weeks would be nuts. I think something takes it out on 8/29. Caught Stealing, Jaws, and I’m even more bullish on The Roses than most (that trailer plays very well in every theater I’ve been to)
@TuckerHazell@pagliansue Also using an LB screenshot for “minimalist” older posters is disingenuous bc they often use edited versions that remove taglines/actor names/etc. Hence the more blank backgrounding
@TuckerHazell@pagliansue To act as mediator briefly, yes posters of any era are going to look similar. Handrawn movie poster art is more of a novelty than anything else now, so yes AI is going to copy digital artwork.
Michael Bay has released an AI video seemingly teasing his ‘SKIBIDI TOILET’ movie.
“Don’t worry, not going to use AI in my films - but there is a clue here”
God, Fallon is such a terrible host. Regardless of whether this is a rehearsed bit, he’s stepping all over Jack’s joke with incoherent babbling. Shut up dude!
To throw in my two cents: Ani is jaded, sure. But despite that, she is slowly convinced (it’s all in Madison’s face) that things can be better for her. Who wouldn’t want to believe that their struggles are finally over? And then that hope is taken just as easily as it is given.
My fundamental issue with this movie is I do not believe the girl we meet at the beginning of this film would buy so heavily into this relationship that it's end would bring her this kind of devastation

Santa Monica and Highland is Sean Baker’s (@Lilfilm) intersection.
Just so we’re clear, this will probably make 5 years of Timothée having a Christmas release window film:
Wonka (‘23), A Complete Unknown (‘24), Marty Supreme (‘25), and Warner Bros. seemingly plans for Dune 3 and Wonka 2 to release at the end of ‘26 and ‘27.
Josh Safdie’s ‘MARTY SUPREME’ will release on December 25, 2025 in theaters.
• Starring Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler The Creator, Fran Drescher and Mr. Wonderful
• Described as an adventure comedy that mixes ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ and ‘Catch Me If You Can’
A great visit from Harris Dickinson! ✨
You can see Harris in Halina Reijn’s BABYGIRL alongside Nicole Kidman and Antonio Banderas — in theaters this Christmas c/o @A24!
