Somnoire is the lore gateway for collaborations

In version 1.4, the Ebony Gatekeeper has told us that Somnoire was created to find a way to defeat the Lament by exploring people's memories and dreams. Any memories or dreams that couldn't contribute to defeating the Lament would eventually be erased

However, the Ebony Gatekeeper no longer wants to do that. Instead, he decided to expand Somnoire into Solaris because he needed more space to preserve those precious memories and dreams. This is why David, Rebecca, Night City, the Moon, and many other elements feel so faithful to the original, as though they had been preserved exactly as they existed in the Cyberpunk universe

Personally, I think Kuro Games was really smart in setting up Somnoire this way. Looking back, it feels like Somnoire was designed from the start to serve as a lore-friendly explanation for future collaborations in Wuthering Waves. The groundwork had already been laid since version 1.x, they simply expanded on it
