U.S. forces have completed a new round of strikes inside Iran, according to U.S. Central Command.
CENTCOM says U.S. Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy assets targeted Iranian military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites at the Commander in Chief's direction.
"The strikes are in response to Iran's unwarranted and continued aggression," the command said.
Officials say the targets posed a threat to U.S. forces and international commercial shipping operating in the region.
