This page is proof that losing everything doesn’t end you it introduces you to who you really are.If you’re rebuilding, you’re home.
If you've been here before, you know.
You cannot be friends with someone who is not in the same wavelength, mindset, or lifestyle as you. Friendship needs alignment.
People who have not attained a certain level of self-awareness or discipline will often become uncomfortable in the presence of someone who has.
No matter how much grace, compassion, or patience you extend to such people, they will eventually feel threatened by the parts of you that remind them of what they have not become.
Instead of being inspired, they become confronted by their own shortcomings. And when that happens, two things often occur:
They will try to pull you down to their level to justify their inadequacies, or slowly buildup envy and resentment towards you. This is why outgrowing people is sometimes necessary; not out of pride, but out of self-preservation.
Your husband is the only person who ever loved you purely by choice.
Your family was already written into your story.
Parents loved you because you were theirs.
Siblings stayed because you shared blood.
Even your child is there because you’re the mother.
But your husband walked in as a complete stranger.
No obligation.
No duty.
No shared past.
He could have built a life with anyone else.
Yet he chose you.
Chose to grow old with you.
Chose to call you home.
That kind of love is never automatic.
It is a daily, deliberate decision to stay, especially when it’s hard.
So never forget to thank the man who still chooses you every single day.
The odds are against you, but you don’t stop believing. You don’t see a way, but you keep thanking God that He has a way. People tell you that it’s not going to happen. Let that go in one ear and out the other. You know what God started He’s going to finish.
The more you do for women, the more they detest you.
That's why in igbo land, a woman that was supported up to PhD level can write thesis on X about how igbo men are misogynistic.
But then you see women from other tribes who are are not afforded such privileges always appear well behaved and loyal.
Makes you wonder.
Sometimes God allows people to disappoint you so that He can remind you that your trust should be in Him alone. People may fail you, but God never will.
God abeg, make my children no squander wetin I go spend years building. Give them wisdom to value hard work, protect what they've inherited, and leave an even better legacy for the next generation. Amen.

I've built myself to a point where I know I can't buy love or friendship with money and I won't try. Anything I have to purchase isn't real. Genuine love, loyalty, and friendship are earned through trust, respect, and character, not a price tag.
I've learned that in life you don't have to regret anything. Tell yourself that you didn't know, you've learned, you've grown and then forgive yourself. There's no point in regretting things that will never go back to normal. Move on.

People who reach a high level of awareness become unsociable. Crowds drain them. Noise overwhelms them. Small talk feels like work. They chill different. A cozy room. Two people they trust. Good food. Music. Conversations that actually mean something. That’s where they feel alive. Depth over noise. Because for them... peace feels like home.
