@NewJerseyOCS Dear attorney General of New Jersey I have a complaint that is not being followed properly. I have spoken to several government officials and they all tell me I’m right except for the DCA, which is reading the gas grill fire code law wrong individual residence in single owner residence has nothing to do with abiding by fire safety law when it comes to gas grills, and this gentleman who is my neighbor needs to adhere to all of the laws, including less than 5 feet of combustible, leaving the grill unattended, leaving the grill fire up under a roof overhang grilling cooking in between a narrow property space not a patio not a deck. All of these are law, abiding rules, and guidelines for everyone in New Jersey. Please help me. I’m a retired Navy chief I got your number from the governor of New Jersey Sherrill and she supports my efforts to get this accomplished. My number is 215-778-1581. I am a Wildwood crest resident and my neighbor needs to quit cooking between my properties and right near my bedroom. Thank you. I am a retired Davy, Chief and a disabled vet.
@NJDCA the DCA is not doing what they say. They’re doing keeping people safe that’s bullshit. New Jersey is corrupt and they need to fix it now hear that governor.
@NJDCA regardless of NJ residential status meaning single-family homes, family owned or single ownership regardless fire code fire code laws must be adhere to when it comes gastro laws, no overhangs of roots, no combustibles 5 feet or less, no on unattended gas screws and no gas grills between narrow properties 7 feet. It’s wrong. It’s illegal, it’s dangerous to not only my property but every property on the block where does the DCA get off interpreting the law that it doesn’t pertain to single-family single ownership property properties that is absolutely stupid no common sense and should not be in the law as stated there must be a correction in the law and correct it now I’ve already got a lawyer
