More honesty. More kindness. More conversations that matter. Less shouting into the void. Trying to make this corner of X a little more human. #MoreManKind
The glasses. The paw on the Ottolenghi cookbook. The judgement.
I’m fairly sure Phoebe’s about to tell me my seasoning lacks ambition. 😂

Morning all 👋
Quote of the day: We don’t have to agree on everything to care about each other.
Maybe the way forward isn’t shouting louder or proving who’s right. Maybe it’s remembering that most of us want the same fairly ordinary things. To feel safe. To be heard. To look after the people we love and believe tomorrow might be a little better than today.
There’s far more that brings us together than pulls us apart. Sometimes we just need reminding of it.
Be curious. Be decent. Be kind. We’re all trying to find our way.

Some days don’t need big wins to be good. Sometimes it’s just a great coffee, a genuine laugh and that quiet moment where you realise life feels a lot lighter when you stop overthinking it.
Wishing you one of those days today, the kind you don’t need to fix, just enjoy. ❤️

Why am I smiling?
Because I’m standing outside in the RAIN. Actual, proper rain. ☔️😂
After nearly two months without it in London, I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to get soaked.
Never thought I’d say this… but I’ve missed you, rain. 🌧️
Just got home absolutely shattered. Phoebe greeted me like I’d returned from war, gave me 14 seconds of love and is now staring at me because apparently there are jobs to do.
Read the room, Phoebe. Daddy’s operating on emergency power. 😂🐶
So… I’ve changed the name! I want this account to be about more than just what I do for work. More good stuff, honest conversations, things that get us talking and hopefully a few laughs along the way. X can be a pretty negative place sometimes. I’m going to try and do my little bit to change that.
Welcome to #MoreManKind
@RobertJenrick Robert, you were a Conservative MP for the entire 14 years your party was in government and a government minister for years. No new major reservoir was built. So if the answer is as obvious as “build the reservoirs”, perhaps the obvious question is… why didn’t you?
