It’s all about positioning. Look at the intention behind the strikes, the rolls, the dodges. How I know the last hit of round slash will connect. The forward slash intentionally moving me where I need to be and striking the head or tail. No focus mode needed.
Weird heat disocvery:
Neutral guarding after a heatdash will cause all follow-up hits to deal 100% recoverable damage, while holding b to guard doesn't. Neutral guarding doesn't risk getting hit by fast moves.
This isn't practice mode only behavior; works in match aswell
My retired hunter, growing some might seeds for the guild. He got a large chunk land as a reward for hunting Elder Dragons. Chilling. What's your headcanon for your hunter?
the heat dash nerfs unironically inspired a top level player to break open the skill gap between people who haven't practiced hard enough to get more than the 14f heat dash punish & himself who can now launch -14 moves.
prime example of nerfs creating a more interesting game.
@Heiuha So bc she's a complex char with a lot of nuance I'm just gonna link a long write up I did about fighting her (generally) in the Tekken subreddit.

General advice:
-Play very patient, conservative
-Focus on low profile, fast, tracking mids or fast lows
