We will as citizens , instead push for an amendment that will allow constituencies and voters to recall and replace mps who don't deliver or who are wayward.
Sengezo Tshabangu has proposed scrapping parliamentary by-elections, arguing that political parties should be allowed to fill vacant seats instead of holding costly mid-term polls. What this charlatan is calling for is a weakening of voter sovereignty, reduction in accountability, and concentration of too much power in political parties rather than citizens. Parliamentarians are voted for under the first-past the post system and not some proportional representation system. Our entire electoral system is designed and built around party lists from the start and therefore, his proposal should itself be scrapped.

Let bygones be bygones and start a new tru paradigm for the reclamation of our country.
If ZANU pf structures raised resolution number 1. And it entails the manipulation of the constitution to extend terms, then zanu pf constitution is the one they can mutilate so brainlessly.

ZANU PF is not a political party that lost its way. It is an evil system.
A political, economic and social parasite. It cannot be negotiated with. Cannot be reformed. Cannot be waited out.
It has attracted the greedy, the opportunistic, every manner of social misfit. Mediocrity is now the standard. And this system is now in some of us โ in how we drive, how we treat each other, how we litter our streets.
It must be uprooted root and branch.
Here is what you do, starting today:
You have until 17 May to send written opposition to CAB3 to the Clerk of Parliament. I will soon publish a template for this. Use it. Share it. Make your MP answer publicly for their vote.
Seven specific actions. A programme, not slogans.

@PoliceZimbabwe your personnel are now a national security threat. Why are you pushing citizens towards a revolt in response to police heavy handedness??
Good day, Crime Watch. I am a concerned citizen who highly values and upholds constitutional principles. I am writing to report an incident involving my driver and Mbare police.
According to my driver, the altercation began when an officer (name withheld) allegedly demanded $20 as a bribe to release him. The reason cited for the stop was that the truck he was driving did not have two spare wheels.
To make matters worse, my driver drove the truck to the police station and, upon arrival and full compliance, the officers deflated the truckโs tires while it was parked.
My main concern is whether such actions are lawful. If they are not, I would like to understand the legality of officers entering private property and intentionally damaging someoneโs vehicle. Fortunately, a senior member of the force withdrew the truck after my intervention, but what about those who do not have the means to intervene?
I have attached pictures showing the officers applying pressure to the wheels after my plea. Is this really the standard of conduct we expect? Does compliance now carry the risk of such penalties?
@PoliceZimbabwe
Slowly I'm beginning to realize we will eventually all be killed in millions by foreign backed gvnts and politicians in Africa.
Africa is being controlled by foreigners, using these fake gvnts
@NUPUSAInc@MODVA_UPDF Africans must put together a vigilante group recruited from all African countries and arm it to intervene in cases like TZ Uganda etc .
the gvnt spend millions USD buying Monomotapa Hotel and say it's for housing MPs and Senators to save gvnt money on hotel allowances when the same gvnt built dozens of houses in Mt Hampden to house visiting president and deplomats? Vadii kuno vata ikoko ma MPs aya ? @ali_naka
