No revenge. I want you to remember that I was real with you the whole time. My intentions were genuine, my feelings were honest and my care was never fake. I may not have been perfect, but I never pretended to be something I wasn't. When everything else fades, I hope you remember that what gave you was real.
Tolerating always turns to resentment. At first, you call it patience, then love. But what it really is, is self-abandonment. Every time you swallow a boundary, excuse a pattern, or silence your discomfort, something inside you keeps score.
And eventually, the bill comes due.
YOU START LOOKING AT PEOPLE DIFFERENT WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT HOW THEY REALLY BEEN TREATING YOU. especially when you realize how much you overlooked just to keep peace, avoid arguments, or keep somebody in your life. But that shyt dead do them how they do you 🫵🏾& Never let tf up
Stop letting people consume you. They didn't call? Go to sleep. They didn't message you? Put your phone down and have a better day. They left you on read? Delete the conversation. They didn't make an effort? Match their energy. Never let your happiness depend on anyone.
I realize that God’s protection often looks like disappointment at first. You thought you lost something, but God was really saving you from it. I’m so thankful for everything that didn’t go my way & every single thing that prepared me for where I am now.
i saw a girl on tiktok who said "accountability is so important to me. nobody's perfect, but don't try to flip the script and make my reaction the issue when your actions lit the match" i felt this to the core.
please be kind. don’t be the reason someone doesn’t want to socialize, hates waking up, or feels left out. your words and actions stick with people forever.
It’s mad just how much we fear losing ppl but forget we’re a loss too. Not everyone knows how to hold something meaningful bc a lot of ppl are operating from lack & insecurities you were never meant to fix. You forget your own significance when you think rejection is about you.
I like being the way I am, a little distant from everyone, direct when necessary, with a serious face, I don't talk to just anyone, nor do I try to fit in where I don't want to be, and the truth is I am calm and at peace like this
