Authorities are appealing for help to identify a man involved in a motor vehicle accident near Matsetseng Ground in Finetown, Gauteng.

He was reportedly walking from Shoprite when the accident occurred. His identity remains unknown, and no family members have come forward.

If you recognize him or have any information that could assist, please contact your nearest police station or call the SAPS Crime Stop line on 08600 10111. All information will be treated confidentially.

A Lephalale mother and her two sons have been missing for months, and police are still trying to determine what happened to them.

Investigators say family members lost contact with Phindile Ntombifuthi Phalatse and her children earlier this year. Neighbours reportedly last saw them around March, while police also discovered that the children had not attended school since November 2025.
