@OC_Transpo@ottawabluesfest I'm glad I don't ever plan to go there ever unless I walk/bike. Walking is faster than transit on any day. I frequently out pace buses on Bank Street, and I'm sure those buses will all be rerouted to address the cue at Pimsi.
@PauletteSteeves I just read your book. It was wonderful. My biggest question is where would you recommend you study archeology/anthropology in Canada? I'm an engineer (UNB 1988) but I've always been drawn to the field. Currently live in Ottawa and rejoined twitter just to ask.
@JimWatsonOttawa Meanwhile my 22 yo and 19 yo have been last in line. Daughter gave up and got her 2nd today in US. Son gets his second in two weeks as he works shift and can't hunt down an earlier one if they even exist.
@nilikm My two adult children and one of their boyfriends are waiting a long wait to get 2nd in Sept and Oct. It would be great if they could be done early. In the meantime two will hope for better luck south of the border.
@nilikm@MinwaashinLodge Send me the volunteer link again. If I'm not post surgery I'll do roadblock duty again. My daughter and boyfriend are hoping to get 2nd in St Louis before there scheduled Sept/Oct dates here.
@nilikm@vickyyyf Yes "jab" is British. Confirmed by my bookclub friend who said that is the common phrase used in the UK back when I got my jab in April.
@ottawacity@ONgov My son drove to Scarborough (summer job) to get his on 30th (booked weeks ago) as it was supposed to be a hot zone and now they are available here like Halloween candy.
