@johnnycieo @3032fc Circati was next so would have been all 3 and Irvine would be considered more like a centre half than a ball player. Like most things in sport it mostly the mental aspect of penalties that is the most important - ie Jedinak and Muscat in years past rather than position.

@Souvla_ I think the pass mark has to consider whether our group contains a minnow or not as well as our pot in the draw (Pot 3 would be much tougher) and a few other factors such as the actual knockout game/s performance.

@FreddyHayekonOz @MichaelLynchy Not wanting to join speculation over Popovic’s job. My point would be that in international football the manager you hire can either be Australian or non Australian but the key is to pick attacking coaches and keep picking them forever regardless of short term results.
