3 years ago I made the decision to commit to Florida State. I couldn’t be any happier with that decision and am so grateful for everyone that has worked with me and supported me to give me that opportunity. Go Noles!!!

Today a Mid Major took every scholarship away from the whole 2024 class. They want to use the money in the portal. They said you can walk on if you want. I didn’t have a player there so I’m unemotional. The system is definitely broken.
A fun day spent at the NWA Children’s Hospital! Can’t wait to wear the new cleats the kids made us today supporting childhood cancer awareness month 🫶🏼
As much of a mess as Twitter can be most days, I’m really impressed by the response to Jordy Bahl’s announcement today. Everything I’ve seen has been warm and supportive.
Maybe we should collectively offer the same grace to everyone in the transfer portal?
Every pitcher out there is super jealous that Jordy gets to pinch run. That’s like… something we ask for jokingly knowing we are being serious.
I’m living vicariously now.
The mental health crisis is impacting our youth.
Sports can make it worse.
If you’re a parent of a female athlete this summer, here are a few reminders:
1. Females struggle more than males do with confidence, choose your words wisely.
2. Never put your daughter or her teammates down while they are among one another while she is on the field or in a team setting.
3. Speak about her teammates performance or coaches decisions ONLY if she asks, she’s learning the value of teamwork. Your words can break that down and negatively impact her value of collaboration, cooperation and respect which will impact her on future athletic teams and her career.
4. Consider asking her when you two are alone if she wants to talk about the game or anything, and respect her answer if she says, “no.”
5. Praise her in public and private for her character, her work ethic, her attitude, her passion or the way she was a teammate. Put your focus and emphasis on helping her see you do value HOW she plays the game and WHO she is not just WHAT she does.
All of these and many more can help her grow in confidence.
Your words are being heard by the girls on the field, their coaches, parents, and college coaches.
Look for ways you can inspire w your words this summer. 🗣️
I think the Mid-Major schools got together and decided to leave no doubt that they deserve some respect.
I’m here for it. It makes it a better fight for everyone.
