Andy Burnham said that he would review the policy which would allow two of PC Andrew Harper’s killers to be released from jail early.

The result: they WILL be released early.

What an absolute betrayal of his family.

[GB Politics @GBPolitcs]

🚨NEW: Thames Valley Police has publicly condemned Andy Burnham for allowing PC Andrew Harper's killers to be released early, claiming the decision is "demoralising for all police officers that put themselves in harm's way to protect and serve their community"

Thank you all, but please keep sharing and signing, this travesty of justice shouldn’t be ignored because the PM is on holiday…🫡

I've just driven back to Nottingham from Lee on the Solent, every so often Id look at the dashboard and see how long a mile took, not via the speedometer, just how long it actually felt, I tried to imagine being dragged behind as he was for that length of time, on rough roads, I felt sick.

The people that did that to a serving police officer, who showed no remorse, who laughed at the media are being let out of Prison what 7/8 years afterwards, let that sink in.

I wonder if #AndyBurnham thinks like this from his sun lounger, cocktail in hand just two weeks into the job.......

Please retweet to help Bailey find a home #HEREFORD #HEREFORDSHIRE #UK 🍏🐶-
Available for adoption, registered British Charity✅
Details or apply for Bailey below👇
https://t.co/a5BgPptawW……Bailey has been a very much loved member of his family until very recently, sadly it’s become clear that he is just not happy in the presence of other dogs and living with his dog brother just wasn’t the right environment for either of them any longer.
It’s difficult to know why Bailey is so unhappy around other canines, perhaps an unknown bad experience in the past has caused this, his previous family have worked really hard with him and he will happily walk with a muzzle on when out and about. This is incredibly responsible as this protects him and those around him, allowing him to continue enjoying his walks safely. Bailey is the sweetest young man, very affectionate, loving and well mannered.
We are ideally looking for an experienced semi rural home where he can continue working on his socialisation skills with a confident leader without being approached by ill mannered dogs.
An adult home may be best suited where he can receive lots of attention and dedication.
A pet free home will be required.

Please retweet to help Klaus find a home #YORKSHIRE #UK
Klaus is the most adorable 3 year old Staffy who has the wiggliest bum and tail wag! He is so sweet, quite excitable (he gives you no choice when he wants to give you kisses and cuddles!!), but is also a sensitive boy who can be a little nervous and worried of new places and things that scare him. He soon finds his feet though, and once he’s used to a new home and routine, his worries will melt away.
Klaus is fully housetrained, loves his comfy bed and shows no signs of separation anxiety. He is non reactive to dogs out and about, but had been falling out with dogs in his previous home, so will be much happier as the only dog in his new home – he can’t live with cats. Klaus can be rehomed with children aged 10+.

[Dogs On The Streets @dotslondon]

A Message from DOTS

We are currently dealing with some incredibly challenging cases, ranging from street homelessness and domestic violence to mental health rehabilitation and urgent community needs.
While we’ve been fortunate to reunite some dogs with their owners, others are arriving just as quickly.
In just the past two days, we’ve taken on cases involving domestic violence, two rehab cases, and sick dogs needing urgent veterinary care. Our vet costs are rising every day as we send dogs for vital tests and operations. For example, one of our dogs is scheduled for a CT scan on Monday, which alone will cost the charity £1,000.

To help cover these escalating veterinary costs, we’ll be launching a fundraiser soon. Every single pound truly makes a difference, and your support means the world to us and the dogs we care for.

We also want to thank everyone who has contributed through our Amazon Wishlist. With the weather conditions worsening, our sanctuary is battling icy lanes and freezing temperatures.

There’s a real risk of being snowed in, making your wishlist donations critical for keeping us stocked through January.
We are so grateful for your ongoing support during this difficult time. Together, we can continue to make a difference for these dogs in need.
Stay tuned for our fundraiser, and thank you for standing by us. 🧡
