(11) The Nephites went from a place of civilization and prosperity to governmental collapse in less than 5 years, and total societal collapse in less than 9 years. That would be like watching the American government collapse before 2030 and our society collapse by 2033.

(10) Our 30th year is 2029.

By the 34th year their entire society collapsed.

(9) 14 And thus there became a great inequality in all the land….

These great disputations, persecutions, railings, revilings, and the great inequality were the precursors to the collapse of the Nephite government that would come in the 30th year.

(5) Let’s compare this admonition with the Book of Mormon.

2025 is the 26th year of our new millennium.

In the 26th and 27th year of the Nephites’ new millennium, (3 Nephi 6:4-5) the people “began… to prosper….
