@Man0fStar WTF I JUST REALIZED
IN THE WRONG DARKWORLD, DIFFERENT TIMELINE, THE SAME DATE IN SEPTEMBER BUT IN THE YEAR 2202 WOULD ALSO BE BETWEEN TWO ECLIPSES
BUT FLIPPED, LUNAR FIRST THEN SOLAR

@SenseiTomato So deeply yes ๐ญ
I didn't expect this post to blow up and I genuinely wasn't that convinced about the calendar reply it just felt whimsical
If I take anything from this general concept it's the seemingly clear intention relation to the eclipse cycle, but the rest is fluff
@TheNC64 Tbh you might be cooking with that actually, after I realized the 97 pattern I didn't look that hard for older ones double eclipse September seapns
@TheNC64 More than likely you're right and I fully agree
It's also vaguely feasible for that to be a red herring, and the video game in question is one of the other multifandom fighting games prior to 1997
@FootSoldierPVZ@shinypombon Ahhdhdhd touche lmao
yeah I can't lie I don't fully know what the explanation would be rn, but given that it's Noelle Amnesia Holiday, and the Susie reply feels random otherwise, I feel like it's plausible that it could be explained
@flowflow_2slow chapter 7 would be kind of crazy, not only is there a much rarer triple eclipse season right around the autumn equinox (won't happen again until 2096 or whtv) but the lunar and solar eclipses follow a
Penumbral eclipse > solar eclipse > penumbral eclipse.
@BigRhaga honestly same. It kind of feels too crazy to actually be intentional and planned like that because wtf do you mean youve planned your game release dates from the lunar schedule lmao like ???!!
Surely not
But that fuckin 2202 realization
I'll come back to expand on this later but Solar Saros 125 started it's descent sept 1997. Lunar Saros 137 started ascending in sept 1997.
both eclipses happened again sept 2015.
In 2033, they flip once more.
1997 had us going darker and darker. 2033 starts the opposite.
@BigRhaga And genuinely I have no counter argument for that either jfhfh
It's very possible if not more likely that I'm wrong about the lightworld being in '97, but I do think the eclipse observations are onto something
@SpecsWitched Dawg if I was exclusively using chatgpt I wouldn't have taken the time to type out the information too ๐ญ

if you're doubtful it's a five second google confirmation on the NASA website shfbbf
@BigRhaga No like I hear you completely, the whole point of what I was suggesting with this is that the dark world, and subsequently the people in it like ralsei, are not in the past.
It's not DT is in 1997.
It would be that the Lightworld currently is.
@PlateOfHam I mean genuinely like I keep saying in other comments, I fully might be off my rocker here. Out of all my lil theorizing moments, this is the most recent and basically was all "discovered" today.
that said, all DTUR releases since 2013 coincidentally fit the exact same schedule
This is why Ralsei misses us so much, and how the system of DR can be diagetic whilst simultaneously having Hometown be rife with older outdated technology.
Time elapses in the darkworld as they do in the Player's world. It's the Hometown segments that are instead set.
