Now I have a job as a software engineer which is what I was aiming for and no time, no energy, no muse, no artistic vision and a constant need for escapism lol

I used to work two jobs, one corporate and one as an usher in a theater. Whenever I finished an early shift I would take the bus to the coffee shop next to theater and write fanfiction until I had to be there.
No wifi, no distractions, only writing.
