"Trawl the webapp and change everything like this term to use this other term." What an annoyance before 2025

We added a Github Action that creates labels for LOC added/removed, and it's a complete game-changer

This is the diff excluding tests

@WilliamHogeland I know a lot of people who create an illusion that they think and talk like human beings

One fascinating thing about Jev/TypeSafe: I signed up for the waitlist on Thursday -- two days after launch -- and got in within 24 hours

@nickbytes @VicVijayakumar Mine gets off-track when the front of the tray is loaded more than the back

I can prevent it entirely by always making sure there are dishes back there

@zdch But my wife and I went from “we don’t know this band” to “we have to travel an hour to see them” in the span of maybe two weeks

[Morley Zhi @morley]

@zdch Made a 90s playlist recently and had the same thought. I thought they only had one hit, but thanks to Spotify, recognized three more

They didn’t do themselves any favors by making each single sound like they’re from different bands

Nothing more satisfying than measuring before and after

People's reflexive aversion to AI's writing style actually explains the hatred toward Nickelback in the early 00s

Nickelback had a small bag of extremely catchy tricks, and they stuffed all of them into every one of their singles

One of my favorite AGENTS.md additions:

> Measure level of effort in lines of code changed, not time

[Morley Zhi @morley]

Hand-coding the first option would have taken me a few days that would have felt wasted when I threw it out

Instead, both were done in an afternoon while waiting to be called in for jury duty

[Morley Zhi @morley]

One of the pleasures of agentic coding is feeling great about throwing out work

Last week, I asked an agent to fix swap minimizing in the @clicker React Native app. It completely rewrote the transaction-watching system. Lots of internal API changes. Given how intertwined internals + UI + onchain actions, very difficult to test

Much easier to start a new session and give it a simpler strategy

The social network for traders - @clicker - is live!

Find Twitter friends, follow their trades (no matter what app they trade in), and see the whys behind their buys.

Reply with your addresses and - if you trade enough - @clickythebot will give you Clicker access + Clicky NFT.

.@daylight is hiring. The endgame: the crypto ad network - one of the biggest opportunities in crypto. Ads drive 17% of US GDP, and they will drive a significant portion of onchain GDP.

Past attempts at creating a crypto ad network have failed to bootstrap the network because they couldn't get reach. We found the way to wedge on reach - onchain for you: personalized transaction recs on the home pages of wallet apps like Coinbase Wallet, Metamask, Zerion, OKX Wallet, and more.

@morley and I have been working together for 6 years in crypto - it's hard to find a founding team this tight who has been in the industry this long - and @usv led our recent round.

We are looking for two staff backend engineers with deep experience designing and scaling REST APIs. Our API serves tens of thousands of requests per second, summarizing millions of rows of offchain data and terabytes of onchain data in 750ms or less.

Come grow onchain GDP with us.

@shukudaidayo Wow, I forgot about that one!

In 2013, OkCupid started accepting payments in Bitcoin, and I needed test funds to implement that system

@daylight is "Onchain for you" - and we're proud to support them in their mission to help build the best crypto discovery platform.

We've been working with their team since 2022 - read the full case study below on how we help them on NFT metadata and media!
