I stand with Congresswoman Salazar. As the state senator who represents her district and the daughter of Cuban refugees, who are now just as American, if not more so than Stephen Miller, I am deeply disappointed by these actions.
And I will not stand down.
I want to put myself on record: โThis is not what we voted for. I have always supported Trump, @realDonaldTrump, through thick and thin. However, this is unacceptable and inhumane. I understand the importance of deporting criminal aliens, but what we are witnessing are arbitrary measures to hunt down people who are complying with their immigration hearingsโin many cases, with credible fear of persecution claimsโall driven by a Miller-like desire to satisfy a self-fabricated deportation goal. This undermines the sense of fairness and justice that the American people value.โ

This is a delicate moment. Itโs a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety.
It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge.
In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Letโs hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.
I'm deleting all my social media and moving to the 17th Century. Fuck plumbing, fuck medicine, let me die in a forest surrounded by the minions of Satan.
@PicturesFoIder 500 bucks a month is a pretty sweet deal. Did you never sign a lease? Didn't you think it was weird you never heard from the landlord in 3 years? You needed nothing replaced or repaired in those three years?
