Since Puah had retreated to her room for a feather light moment of shame she didn’t hear or see any of this and thinks that I planted it. I’m never telling her the truth.

In April I told the kids I wanted an apple tree for Mother’s Day, & that I wanted them to even coordinate planting it in a spot where an existing sapling that I don’t want was growing. They did some research but immediately ran into challenges that they couldn’t seem to overcome.

The funny part is that after Puah helped me unload the tree. I asked the neighbor’s contractor to plant it for me, but only when he had time. He said “I can do it right now.”They uprooted one tree, planted another, set everything back perfectly, cleaned up and took off.
