@moreauzanov Plus there are countries where they would let you buy a Kindle from the 'local' version of Amazon but there's no option to buy ebooks there and no Kindle Unlimited either - you have to go to the US version and then pay for the currency conversion on top of everything else
@plottwistgirlie Also, if someone's first experience with an author is that author acting as an entitled cunt.... yeah, that's not gonna give them a massive paying fanbase, even among those that can afford to pay and when the books are actually being sold in their countries
@nottkaro For sure, but I still have a gut feeling that it's the type of person that gets her knickers in a twist over how much a library pays vs how much she could have made if all of those people that will then check it out there would have bought it instead.
@jasoncrawford One could argue that point 1 makes 3 harder instead of easier, after all back in the day people would have been able to plan things within a predefined yearly cycle that's now completely gone. And surely, 20+ episodes would have taken more time to write than 8 episodes now 🤔
@AZRAAALPH@NONGYERIN It might sound totally delulu but to me this is a textbook look of a millennial dude questioning/rethinking all of his life choices in that exact moment
@lukeyerinistg Cute, confused and absolutely unhinged - that's an absolutely perfect combo. And funnily enough (unless he pulled off something weird) I can kinda do the math for him. HS class of '06, had to be in Bristol in 2007 at the latest to make the rest of the uni timeline work
@lukeyerinistg Hahaha, totally 😂
But, for what it's worth, I'm a year older, I moved four times by the time I was 19 and I can't figure out the math for at least two of those either so I probably shouldn't laugh 😜
