CEO @moriasiarabu, Dir. Daniel Mutua and team have this morning held an engagement with youth reps from Kericho County in a forum chaired by CEC for youth, Mr. Edgar Towett. Discussions focused on the uptake of the Fundโs loan products & addressing challenges faced by borrowers.
โIn addition to business loans, youth in the county will benefit from the Fundโs labor migration program, which provides loans of up to Shs. 300K to cover pre-embarkation costs for those securing jobs abroadโremoving a financial barrier they previously faced.โ CEO @moriasiarabu

The Youth Fund and Kericho County Government have today signed an MOU to enhance youth economic empowerment. The agreement, signed by Governor Dr. Erick Mutai and Youth Fund CEO @moriasiarabu aims to boost support for young entrepreneurs in Kericho County. @DrErickMutai
Issues raised included the collateral requirement for individual borrowers and lengthy loan turnaround times. CEO @moriasiarabu clarified that collateral doesnโt have to be owned by the borrower. He assured them that YEDF has reorganized and digitalized its loan processing
