@yoursnandieni As if doing that would lead to some cosmic awakening or inner transformation. Whether you keep your father’s surname or your mother’s, if you’re a retard, you’ll continue to be a retard.
I get your point, but if men are expected to pay and take the lead on the first few dates, wouldn’t some women exploit this for free meals? You may not be one of them, but if you’re generalising this rule, surely some women will take advantage of it. How do you distinguish those genuinely seeking a companion from those simply looking for a free meal?
According to me, The idea behind splitting the bill comes down to two things: first, it reflects a woman’s independence and financial capability. Second, since both time and money are precious, people are more likely to invest them wisely in those they genuinely see a connection and potential with.
Without arranged marriage, men would adapt and find partners on their own. Those good at interactions would succeed sooner; others would learn the hard way. It’s that simple. “Inflated egos and shallow pride” aren’t gender-specific, everyone has it. And if you’re so disgusted by Indian men, why not find someone from a country where men have the qualities you seek? It’s okayy, you got one life. Don’t suffer unnecessarily.
@MyHeartcode Please be the living shining embodiment of your conviction and prove to the world that choosing not to marry was the right decision. And if, after all that, you find yourself free, joyful, and fulfilled, you can help other women achieve the same feat.
@Erishuuu Enlighten me: which laws discriminate against women, and where exactly do you believe they are not treated as equals? And regarding religion, where do you feel women are disregarded or not treated equal?
@d3ddxo I think more than half of them lack the clarity to understand why they’re there or what the banners they’re holding actually represent. Perhaps they’re simply bored with their lives and have nothing more worthwhile to occupy themselves with.
The irony of *some* pseudo-feminists protesting against the system for its lack of opportunities for women in physically demanding fields such as delivery and transportation, mechanical, and heavy industrial jobs, while themselves enjoying popcorn, K-dramas, therapy, and the comfort of desk jobs (if they choose to work, since many are influencers). Meanwhile, young women watching them get influenced into developing a deep-rooted hatred for men.

Well, you can have the pleasure and satisfaction of “winning” an argument by not participating in it. Everyone is entitled to their own self-made victories. However, you won’t go far in life if you remain confined to your own thoughts and opinions. Growth demands exposure to new ideas, the willingness to embrace different perspectives, and the humility to acknowledge and adapt; otherwise, you’ll end up living nothing more than a recycled version of yourself.

@OhajiemoU85445 The times have changed, unfortunately, all people want now is to prove that their gender is superior, portraying acts of generosity and compassion as favours owed to the opposite gender. This perception will lead us nowhere but to mental diarrhea.
True, nowhere is it written that women must cook for men. Historically, men hunted while women cooked for survival, it was a partnership. Today, times have changed, and women can earn and sustain themselves, making them equally free from such obligations.
That said, a woman who loves cooking for and feeding her loved ones is regarded as divine, for to feed someone is to nurture and nourish life itself. When done with love, cooking becomes an expression of care, warmth, and affection.

I understand that women go through immense physical hardship during childbirth, one of the most painful processes the human body can endure. But this is how nature has designed the male and female bodies, and neither can change their biological roles. Arguing over who plays a more vital role in creating life is a very absurd and immature way to look at the process of life. Ideally, a man should protect, provide, and care for the woman throughout the process. Reproduction is a partnership, not a competition.

The mechanics of a relationship is transactional in nature. The concept of “true love” sounds very beautiful and poetic, but in reality everything is transactional. Deny it all you want, but believing otherwise will only lead to disappointments. An ideal relationship is a balance of love and the willingness to fulfil their respective roles.
You shouldn’t compare your path and journey to someone else’s. Everyone moves through different phases of life, and each must be lived gracefully in its own time. Comparing it and self-deprecating will only bring misery, resentment, and disappointment.
