35 yrs in oil & gas industry & proud of it. Fully support an independent AB (or 51st state).
Canada has been sold out, just waiting to see who the new owner is
@RonaAmbrose@PierrePoilievre How? Serious question.
The constitutional requirements to fix the fundamental issues require provinces dependent on handouts to willingly give them up.
They won't. Why would they?
WE HAVE NO ANSWER TO A NONSENSE POLL … because it’s completely silly.
Léger announces that 40% of Albertans would leave Alberta because the want to be taxed and governed harder! 😂
“OH PLEASE DADDY CARNEY GOVERN ME HARDER!”
Said no Albertan EVER!

@coreyhoganyyc Funny thing about negotiating.... Both sides think they have leverage.
Access to the west coast from Eastern Canada is cheapest THROUGH Alberta. If you want to block AB, moving products AROUND Alberta will become reality.
Funny how international agreements work.
@cindylynn_@IgorRyltsev No, but its a perfect opportunity to waste more taxpayer dollars, fabricate some lies, seize bank accounts, trample people with horses, confiscate property.... Did i miss anything?
@MattJR76 If the govt budget has money to hand back to taxpayers, the taxes are too high.
@MarkJCarney , the economic genius, needs to remember that the govt money belongs to taxpayers NOT the govt.
For those in the back, anyone from CRA help you earn your last paycheck?
@Coralie4955@boehmerB The RoC believes a pipeline will solve things. AB wants to be an equal partner, which is a constitutional impossibility. The RoC has become addicted to equalization.
@cnm5000@ABDanielleSmith Making Alberta an equal partner in confederation is a constitutional impossibility.
Pretending its not is the exact definition of insanity.
Alberta Independence: No more Ottawa Tax. More money for seniors. Strong military and REAL support for veterans. Strong immigration and deportation. To ensure the Alberta is strong and free.
The Value of Freedom is Priceless.
@Shagarchist@WBrettWilson There's been budgets around for years, going back to the AIP platform. All have reasonable budget surpluses when based on current AB + CDN taxes paid to Ottawa. Even a 25% error leaves huge surpluses.
Wilson lives in a different tax bracket, he can afford socialism.
@TopJeetAB @AlbertanAFk@sunlorrie We all know thats true, I'm not sure if the rest of Canada understands it. The political illiteracy in Canada is astounding.
@TopJeetAB @AlbertanAFk@sunlorrie I agree, but i want to know what compromise the RoC is willing to make to keep AB that isnt based on fear or sentiment.
Im genuinely curious what canada is willing to offer. I know if AB was independent, what would canada offer to have AB join?
@AlbertanAFk@sunlorrie Kimic: what compromise? What are you asking? What do you want alberta to give and what do they get in return?
I'm asking for a real answer that is not rooted in sentiment.
