@grynbaum The decision to kill this story and that’s what they did, kill. It is chilling to those of us who have been involved with journalism or who have been journalists for decades. 60 Minutes has been the gold standard and this story needs to run as is.
@JimCosta_ I agree. I was there there with my son Mark and the fans, never had a chance to get into it. Most of the tigers hitters, too many today kept giving away. One is bad after another. Lackluster play in the field also was a factor. They were just not a very good team last night.
A lot of people say well he was bad for both teams so it equals out. I don’t look at it like that. He was horrendous and it certainly gets in the players head and they wind up having a swing at garbage. So bad he shouldn’t be allowed to umpire the plate again in this series, but could be behind the play or would be for game five.
@CalltoActivism He had no trouble with the numbers when they looked OK in recent months. He is like a Third World figure ahead that sinks lower and lower each day.
@LeadingReport If this is true, and I hope that it isn’t, excuse me while I go vomit. Of course this is the same president Trump that pardoned Kwame Kilpatrick. I don’t wanna hear, yeah but what about Hunter Biden? He shouldn’t of been pardoned either.
I am proud to say that I was a vendor in 1971 in 1972. In those containers there was fiery, hot charcoal and then on top of it was a pan of boiling water. And there were 80 hotdog in each container so that 40 or $.50 apiece. No ketchup. Mustard only.Made a lot of money those two summer selling hotdog. I will say the bleachers were generally not terribly lucrative, but you could have some fun out there.
