@Duderichy@NathanpmYoung the risks are still relatively low, and I wouldn't advise someone with infertility or a carrier of a known genetic disorder to avoid IVF. but I'm not sure the gains on polygenic selection are worth it at this point
@Duderichy@NathanpmYoung various pregnancy complications: preterm birth, small for gestational age infants, pre-eclampsia, placenta and vasa previa. some of these may be more related to infertility than IVF itself, but I find it very plausible that IVF placentas are different
