Ondo Perps just overtook Lighter in 24h RWA-perp volume.

At the time of writing:

> Ondo: $229M
> Lighter: $199M

The reason is pretty simple. On July 23, Ondo Points went live:

> Trading volume and referrals already counted toward a $175K weekly USDC pool.
> Now every trade also earns points based on volume and open interest, with 5M points distributed weekly.

So the same trade now counts toward USDC rewards and Ondo Points.

Obviously, one day of volume does not mean Ondo has won.

Lighter still leads in open interest:
- Lighter: $76M
- Ondo: $52M

But Ondo is now doing more daily volume with 28 RWA markets, while Lighter has 76.

I think the market is beginning to figure out @OndoPerps as a serious RWA perp venue.

I genuinely believe that real blockchain adoption will come from products that solve real-world problems not just from narratives.

Yesterday, while monitoring protocols on Stellar, I came across Spiko.

In the last 24 hours alone, the protocol generated over $67,000 in fees and currently has more than $2.2B in TVL.

In case you're wondering what Spiko does, it's a tokenized money market fund that lets idle capital move on-chain while still earning yield from short-term government debt.

Basically, it allows you to access Treasury bills on-chain.

Treasury bills are short-term debt issued by governments. When you buy them, you're essentially lending money to the government, and in return, you earn a yield. They're generally considered one of the safest investment products available.

Now here's the part that caught my attention.

Nearly 60% of Spiko's activity happens on Stellar.
