Remember the 'human bomb'? May 2018 during SAA liberation of #Yarmouk from #ISIS. A Syrian Arab Army soldier was bound head to foot and fitted with a helmet packed full of explosives. He was suspended above the street and then dropped headfirst. The helmet exploded and decapitated him.
But "Alhamdulilah Assad is gone"
may you and everyone of you be haunted for the rest of your miserable life for what you did to us. may you never have a moment of peace for the harm you have wrought on earth. foam at the mouth, demon. nothing will save you from your own evil.
The height of moral decay in this world is beyond description — the world is preoccupied with finding a way to recover 19 bodies of Israeli captives, while more than 10,000 people from Gaza remain missing beneath the rubble of their homes, entire families wiped out, and no one asks about them.
We will never forget the words of 6-year old Hind Rajab:
“The tank is next to me…please come take me, please. Please stay with me…It’s almost night, I am scared…”
Israeli forces shot 335 bullets at the car she sat in waiting for help. 335.
On this day in 2021, Palestinian activist and thinker Nizar Banat from Hebron was beaten to death by the Palestinian Authority's (PA) security forces as they raided his home.
He passed away around an hour later while being taken to hospital.
The PA claimed he died of natural causes, but an autopsy commissioned by his family showed that he died after suffering 42 injuries inflicted with metal pipes.
Nizar Banat was staunchly pro-resistance and opposed any form of normalization, defeatism, or compromise. He bluntly called out all those who sold the Palestinian struggle and heavily criticized the Palestinian Authority for its excessive internal corruption, complicity, and security coordination with the Israeli occupation.
To this day, no accountability has been taken for his murder, and no proper investigations have been carried out.
His voice continues to resonate with every passing day, as his departure marked an extraordinary turning point in the consciousness of today’s generation of Palestinians.
