$AMZN is closing Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh stores, saying it didn’t find the right customer experience or economics to scale Amazon-branded grocery. Some locations will convert to Whole Foods. Amazon also plans 100+ new Whole Foods over the next few years and broader same-day fresh grocery delivery in 2026.
