Today, tried to keep to my strategy as humanly as I could but I had distraction: new strategy that i was backtesting. Also, got reminded that my current strategy works best during trends and price channel should look clean before taking the setup.
Before I can gather enough data for the setup to knw its profitability factor. In short, im sabotaging myself.
So this time, I want to do it differently. To stick to the same setup no matter what.
No compromise, nth exciting & complicated.
Which result in losses at the end. I’m stucked in an endless cycle. Until recently, i realised the problem is me.
Im not sticking to the same setup. Whether im winning or losing, i’ll tweak the setup as I go along before.
Context: All this time, I’ve been losing money in trading. Hopping strategies after strategies.
Once I met with losses, I jumped onto the next holy grail.
Even if Im winning, I’ll try to tweak it to “make it better” or complacent by compromising my setup.
Starting to realise being discipline to do something consistently is hard. Feels 2nd nature to change things as I go.
To myself: Just be discipline to stick to the same thing over and over and see how things gonna change this time round.
@FatManTerra Proposals that aren’t in your favour = not the community wants.
Proposals that are in your favour = the community wants this.
Sounds familiar, just like the gamblers that wanted Do to stick to LUNC burning.
