I’ve been involved around @DEPHNetwork for a while now, and with $DEPH launching next week I think it’s finally time to explain why I’m so bullish on what’s being built here.
This is NOT another token looking for a use case. 🧬

A full hour with DEPH’s new CEO Lisa and Co-Founder Sam🎙️
This conversation goes much deeper than the usual headlines, covering where DEPH is now, what has actually been built, how the different parts of the ecosystem fit together, and what the next phase looks like under new leadership.
They talk through the science, the products, the network, the challenges of building in health, and the bigger reason DEPH exists in the first place.
You never sold your health data, someone else did
Your cut so far: $0, and that's completely wrong
How much should you get paid when AI learns from it, and how should projects protect your rights to own it?
This Tuesday we're decoding AI health sector with @DEPHNetwork, @ummuhub and @SecretRebooted

Your health data doesn’t live in one place. It never has.
Your DNA, epigenetic’s, bloods, wearables are all scattered across different tests, platforms, apps - none of them talking to each other.
DEPH was built specifically to change that.
Nathaniel Wood’s journey gives us an opportunity to look beyond performance on fight night and study what an elite training year is actually doing to the body.
Across the year, DEPH will be working with World Champions, elite level camps through regular epigenetic testing, blood analysis and additional health assessments to build a deeper picture of how his biology changes through camp, recovery, competition and progression.
The aim is to understand the true epigenetic impact of chasing a world title. Not just how performance changes, but how sustained elite level training affects biological age, recovery, adaptation and the wider markers that sit behind it.
This is what makes the work with Nathaniel and GBTT so interesting. We are not looking at a single test or a single camp. We are building a longitudinal view of athletes pushing toward the highest level of the sport.
Your health is not a generic dataset, and it should not be treated like one.
DEPH is building a personal health layer that brings your biology, history and consent together, giving the tools built on top far more context about the person behind the data.
The goal is not simply to collect more information. It is to make that information more useful, while keeping access visible, permissioned and under your control.
A better picture of health starts with the individual, not the average.

GBTT is one of the most decorated camps in British combat sports, with 8 world champions under its roof.
We're testing their fighters at the epigenetic level. Not to tell them how hard they train, they already know that. To show what the training is actually doing to them underneath. Biological age against chronological age, how fast the body is recovering, where inflammation is sitting, which systems are carrying the cost of a hard camp.
Elite athletes are the sharpest dataset in human performance. They train at the limit, they log everything, and the margins that decide a fight are the same margins that separate healthy ageing from decline. What we learn from fighters at the top of the sport feeds straight back into the science.
Fight camps have always been run on feel. This gives them a readout.
