Exciting news! We are now official members of Coastal Communities Network Scotland 👍 We are looking forward to working with all the other members to preserve and restore marine habitats. @CCNScotland Thanks to @MossyEarth as we wouldn’t be at this stage without their support.
We’re excited to support Rewilding Apennines in the effort to ‘claw’ back populations of white-clawed crayfish in the Central Apennines. Learn more about this project below, our first to focus on crustaceans.

One of the most endangered small mammals in Central Europe was found at our project site! We were thrilled the Pannonia root vole, a rare vole subspecies endemic to the Pannonian lowlands, has already appeared at our wetland restoration site in Slovakia with #BROZ.
📢 New video out soon!🐿️
This time, we'll take you along the journey of translocating ground squirrels from Bratislava Airport. Stay tuned!

We’re taking another step to rewild the former quarry in Portugal with an aquatic plant survey. Two specialists joined @RewildingPortug & found all kinds of species, some on the Portuguese red list. More details to come. For now, here's a carnivorous bladderwort.

Our Red kites are travelling countries and continents. A nestling released in Spain has headed to Morocco! Another #LifeEurokite bird spent the summer in France. GPS tags are proving very useful, showing poisoning is a more prominent threat than first thought.
We're starting a trial to revert desertification in Benin. Two years ago we started working with local researchers to find solutions to the country's high desertification rates. Learn about the trial phase & why we're turning our attention to termites!

We're gathering data on seagrasses present in the Cromarty Firth, involving lots of walking in muddy intertidal habitat! To speed up the process and make our habitat mapping more accurate, we opted to trial the use of drone mapping with software from our partners at @pix4d
We are looking for a video editor to help us make our videos on YouTube as well as other updates for our members. If you are a video editor that loves nature, then this is a great way to use your skills to make a positive impact!
