most of studytwt being on top of their assignments meanwhile there’s me looking at the 18 missing assignments i need to churn out by the end of tomorrow if i want even a chance in hell of my professor grading them

every semester i tell myself i will not miserably fall behind and then be forced to complete nearly a semesters worth of work in less than a week and then i go ahead and miserably fall behind and force myself to complete nearly a semesters worth of work in less than a week

i love my major and my anthro professor but god what i would give to have more professors in the department sometimes because why do we have one man singlehandedly running the entire anthro side of the major, plus having him teach a sociology class and a religious studies class

obviously this wont work for every professor ever, but in my experience, if you've got good rapport with a professor, strong writing skills, and a tendency to yap well over the required page count regularly, your professor is not going to question you for changing it up a little

pro tip: if your prof doesnt have a word count, only a page count, and doesnt require a specific font, if you type everything in verdana (the ao3 font) it fills up the page faster.
