@ScientificGems@GiangiacomoMin1 that's fair, but i'm not sure if WSC knows what the Cruiser Class is supposed to be about either
"the purpose of a system is what it does", so the current cruiser class's purpose appears to be "make cars with bigger batteries every cycle that still fail to drive to Adelaide"
one last WSC post: way too many thoughts on the cruiser class. race format, what the rules seem to incentivize the teams to do, some monday-morning quarterbacking, yada yada yada

really been interesting to watch WSU (4th line from the bottom) pick up the pace over the past 500km... if they can keep up that pace today, they have a real chance of passing four (!) cars very soon and sliding up into 7th place.
Bridgestone World Solar Challenge #BWSC23#BWSC2023 has 2 cars in, 3 or 4 expected this afternoon, other active cars all at least as far as Coober Pedy.
Passed the 100km mark, getting close to #Adelaide now! Still facing strong sidewinds: using fin at max rotation angle to maintain a safe and secure speed #BWSC2023
did Sunswift and Minnesota both run out of juice? they've both been parked for a bit, nowhere near a control stop
uhhhhh what happens if no cruiser teams finish the second stage
Update #BWSC23#BWSC2023 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge chart (Challenger class). Leaders are 1. @solarteam_be, 2. @solarteamtwente, 3. @brunelsolarteam. The first speed shown for each team is average since Darwin, the second is average for last leg.
