@kristenjrod@thevivafrei@kiwitrump Do you know the word “jurisdiction”? What about the word “priorities”? Do you know zero Democrats who subverted an American election have been arrested? Zero people from Epstein’s client list?
@kristenjrod@thevivafrei@kiwitrump You can’t make an arrest without jurisdiction. Imagine if any other country kidnapped the American (or any other) president and called it “an arrest”

Biden’s disastrous debate performance brought to a screeching halt a multi-year campaign from the media to present the president as mentally fit.
Do you really remember how hard the press pushed you not to trust your lyin’ eyes on Biden’s decline?
Start here ⤵️
This morning, Jeh Johnson, the former Secretary of Homeland Security under Obama, went on MSNBC to make the case for Joe Biden to stay in the race.
"A presidency is more than just one man… I would take Joe Biden at his worst day at age 86 so long as he has people around him like Avril Haines, Samantha Power, Gina Raimondo supporting him, over Trump any day."
I’m sorry, but democracy doesn’t work that way. Americans elected Joe Biden, not Avril Haines, Samantha Power, and Gina Raimondo.
Sure: all presidents rely on unelected advisors. But at the end of the day, we expect that the person the majority voted for will make the decisions.
That’s clearly not the case with Biden. As we saw in the debate, he’s unable to speak clearly. And that means he’s unable to think clearly.
And Biden’s own aides admitted that Biden only has six good hours a day. What happens if Russia threatens nuclear war at two in the morning?
It’s fair to wonder if Biden’s incompetence is, to some extent, responsible for various disasters in his administration. If Biden’s mental capacity were 100% would he have allowed so many migrants to cross the border? So many that the border crisis threatens his presidency? Would he have approved such a chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan?
Where were Avril Haines, Sam Power, and Gina Raimondo when all of that was going down? Maybe they wanted those bad policies. Or maybe Biden didn’t understand what they were telling him. Or maybe there wasn’t time in his six-hour workday to think things through.
Or maybe everyone was too scared to tell Biden the bad news. Politico this morning reported that senior Biden administration officials go to “great lengths” to “avoid provoking a negative reaction” from Biden because he has such a short temper.
“It’s like, ‘You can’t include that, that will set him off,’” said one of them. “It’s a Rorschach test, not a briefing. Because he is not a pleasant person to be around when he’s being briefed. It’s very difficult, and people are scared shitless of him.”
In other words, what we saw at the debate wasn’t the worst of it. The worst of it is that Biden can’t or won’t deal with bad news. And what is being president of the United States if not dealing, day after day, hour after hour, with bad news?
There are definitely a lot of people urging Biden to step down. But what’s so disturbing is how they’re making the case based on his inability to defeat Trump, rather than on his ability to govern the country.
It’s time to get real. We’re talking about the guy who decides whether to fire off nuclear missiles. The guy who decided to sell Ukraine missiles that can hit Russia. The American people elected Biden to have that responsibility, not Avril Haines, Sam Power, and Gina Raimondo.
According to the latest polling, just one out of four Americans think Biden has the mental capacity to handle that responsibility. We are in a deeply surreal and dangerous moment.
Consider that the media reported that two days ago, Hunter Biden played a key role in convincing his father to stay in the race. Remember Hunter Biden? The guy who oversaw a vast influence peddling scheme for his dad while smoking crack and playing with guns? He’s who President Joe Biden is listening to?
Democrats are telling us we shouldn’t worry about that. The representatives of the deep state will take care of us. Who is Avril Haines? She’s the head of the Directorate for National Intelligence — our top spy chief. Who is Jeh Johnson? He’s the guy who created the basis for the Department of Homeland Security to demand censorship by social media platforms.
The Democratic Party is not democratic. It has been trying for years to incarcerate the main political opponent of the president of the United States. It oversaw the creation of a Censorship Industrial Complex. It weaponized the FBI and other intelligence agencies to spread disinformation about its enemies.
And the Democratic Party is now trying to get away with running for reelection a man who lacks the compos mentis required to do his job and is openly saying that the deep state will run things instead.
Jeh Johnson is right that a presidency is more than just one man. But it’s a role that depends entirely upon that one man. And in a democracy, we elect that man. The alternative is tyranny.
Shocking stat of the day:
Inflation has not fallen in a single month since January 2021, according to Zerohedge.
This means that overall prices are up over 19.5% in less than 4 years.
That is an average of 5.5% per year effectively wiping out ONE FIFTH of the US Dollar's purchasing power.
We have not had a year-over-year inflation print below 3% in 37 consecutive months.
Inflation is now building on previous years of inflation; we effectively have compounding inflation.
How is this a "strong" economy?
While CPI inflation is at 3.4%, inflation is much higher in many basic necessities:
1. Car Insurance Inflation: 22.6%
2. Transportation Inflation: 11.2%
3. Hospital Services Inflation: 7.7%
4. Car Repair Inflation: 7.6%
5. Homeowner Inflation: 5.8%
6. Rent Inflation: 5.4%
7. Electricity Inflation: 5.1%
8. Food Away From Home Inflation: 4.1%
Keep in mind, inflation has been above 3% for over THREE years now.
This means that these inflation numbers are building on multiple years of already inflated prices.
Clearly, we are not ready for interest rate cuts.
Affordability is still getting worse.
Three articles citing that everything you have been told, is wrong.
Both secular and theist doctrines have served as mere red herring appeals to authority. Never accept dysinformation (dystopian disinformation) as normal or necessary - it is a feature of oppression only.
Woke is broadly defined as
"Cultlike adherence to leftist social orthodoxy"
Leftist orthodoxy changes as it has no moral foundation though it's current iteration is strongly rooted in critical theory, postmodernism, and their derivatives
Superconductivity requires a spin-up electron to pair with a spin-down electron, so that the pair has a net spin of zero and therefore obeys Bose-Einstein statistics, not Fermi-Dirac. This breaks them free from the Pauli exclusion principle, so you can have a great many of them occupying a low energy quantum state that can slide effortlessly through the material like a ghost. Every superconductor relies on exactly that effect.
What differs between materials is the way in which the electrons pair. Electrons don’t like to pair, because of their mutual Coulomb repulsion, but in some materials they can both jiggle the crystal lattice in a way that weakly brings them together, like an arranged marriage for a couple that’s not really into each other. This is called phonon coupling, and can be modeled with BCS theory, at least… for simple crystal structures. That model predicts that superconductivity can only occur up to like 30 K, beyond which the lattice is jostling around too much because of temperature, so the pairing mechanism is disrupted.
However, there are some materials with complicated crystal structures, that get around the assumptions of BCS, and that are more robust when it comes to the effect of temperature on the pairing mechanism. For example, ReBCO, which I work with, can go up to ~90 K. This is a shockingly high number from the perspective of BCS, which is why these materials are called “high temperature” superconductors, despite still having to be pretty cold (liquid nitrogen boils at 77 K).
Anyway, the high T superconductors have more complicated and exotic pairing mechanisms. It’s no longer “simple” phonon coupling, but something that involves longer-range and more geometrically complicated details, and to this day it’s still not fully understood.
Although, the way supercurrent flows is well-understood, in all superconductors. It’s called the Ginsburg-Landau model, and is based on the idea that there’s some energy associated with electron pair formation, and some energy associated with pair-to-pair interactions, in addition to the usual electromagnetic terms. This model works extremely well, and is the basis for all superconducting technology.
One of the predictions of GL is that, when the condensation energy is nearly zero (around the Tc), there will be fluctuations where electrons temporarily pair and un-pair. These oscillations are extremely rapid, so in experiential measurements they will average out into a state that seems to be kinda superconducting, but not completely. But it’s really just fluctuating, a second-order phase transition. So that’s one cause of the transition width.
Another cause of the transition width is the purity of the sample, or lack thereof. A sample with varying quality throughout will have a wider transition, as some parts of it “turn on” before others.
With ReBCO, transition widths are typically a few K, with tails noticeable out to like a 10 K span, sometimes more. And dirty samples might have double or triple transitions, if different parts of it are oriented different ways.
Anyway, sorry for the novel of a response, but I hope that provides some context. Any Tc curve on a new superconducting sample is probably going to have quite a wide transition, for lack of sample purity, and also due to the fluctuations that thermodynamically should be there no matter what. So it seems extremely unlikely that a material which somehow superconducts at 4X the temperature of ReBCO would also have a much cleaner Tc transition.
"Recovery [from trauma] can take place only within the context of relationships; it cannot occur in isolation. In renewed connections with other people, the survivor recreates the psychological faculties damaged or deformed by the traumatic experience."
