To respond to infractions by some agencies and requested that Heads of Agencies to pay particular attention to the PFM Act to avoid audit infractions. The Minister was speaking at the 2023 Transport Sector Strategic Review Meeting.

The Minister for Transport has announced that significant progress towards the launch of a Home-based Carrier, which will be called “Ghana Air” have made and hopefully, the Airline will be inaugurated by the third quarter of this year, 2023.

He further reminded the Ministry and its Agencies to take seriously the provisions of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016, (Act 621) noting that, on several occasions, the Ministry has been called to attend to the Public Accounts Committee.
