I would rather die feeling as if I was a good person with a positive impact than focusing on if I earned a ticket to the right place.

Because if I end up in a “Bad Place” for who I am but someone who has committed atrocities but “repented” went to the Good Place. Is it good, really? And is where I went so bad? I don’t believe that’s how it works.

But it’s like, I also have always followed what I believe in my heart and follow what I stand for - not just a set of rules someone told me would save me. I can articulate my why and believe it without considering where I go when I’m gone

As an adult I realize a good chunk of my morality and my outspokenness about my beliefs does tie back to how I was raised in church and what we were taught about Jesus and Christianity
