I launched a YouTube channel called BallerFX to share what I've learned. Starting Monday, I will be sharing a 14 video series to help you create a sports motion graphic!

Multiple venues. Multiple outputs. One asset.
That's the power of toolkitting!
For UNC, they had multiple venues and teams they wanted to use this prompt asset for.
So we built out simple UI to allow them to quickly update and edit the assets for greatest flexibility.
How would you react if I said a BallerFX course is in the works?
I've received a ton of requests, and have been working out how to make this happen.
This project based course will take you from animation to replication.

@highfivejohn Ya, in order to keep these fast and efficient, file sizes need to be small. You could technically create in C4D but would need to pre-render those assets to make it work. Love the idea of Unreal, seems like they’re aiming for real time broadcast. Most of this is aimed at social.
The Pistons created more value by using Custom TEAMPLATES this season. They built templates for all their different jerseys, keeping content fresh and consistent throughout the season. No Photoshop or AE projects to open.

@DerrylMyles My least favorite part is that valuable info + stats are so far off to the side that you feel like you miss something trying to absorb it…should feel like an add not a distraction!
Motion assets are now on demand!
No Adobe license, no motion skills, no problem...just hit submit on the web and your asset arrives in seconds!
TEAMPLATES gives you the power to fill that gap!

Your MOGRT should be as simple as possible with the most capabilities jammed into the EGP UI.
Sliders adjust assets horizontally when 16x9, and adjusts vertically when in 9x16.
Don't put up with duplicate elements, or even worse, a different MOGRT file for each format!
Personalization is a differentiator! Build a template and connect it to a spreadsheet to version assets for each player.

@shauna_howell1 Thread of GOLD right here…definitely can relate to all of this! My triggers are the same, usually after a few busy months (hello Fall). Sometimes just working on a small part of the project and shrinking my focus helps because once you feel good about one part, the rest follows!
@AlexKopilow@njh287 Man, this is the kind of homer attitude I used to get annoyed about when working at a team. Your fans know the final score, but not sharing their voice in heartbreak, disappointment, or frustration over the result, you lose trust. There’s a story to tell, and hiding isn’t it!
